Writes Iona: “I had recently taken a workshop with Joan Byers on a covered accordion book and I thought it might be an interesting structure for the AOB catalogue challenge. Playing with the words Art and Book in the title Art of the Book I created an artist’s journal, a literal art book. Using the titles, colours and book forms in the AOB catalogue I created mixed-media backgrounds on the accordion pages to represent the works that inspired me.”
