This intermediate course with Joan Byers introduces intermediate techniques, such as rounding and backing, hooked invisible hinge endpapers, hollow spine lining, sewn end bands, and edge decoration.
Tools required: basic bookbinding tool kits (we have some if you don’t have one), small weights, finishing or lying presses (please bring one if you have one), a thick paperback book (to practice endbands).
