No previous bookbinding experience is needed to enroll in this workshop.
This two day workshop will focus on the basic principles of bookbinding while making a small hardcover book. Paper folding, sewing, cutting, bookbinding tools and more will be covered.
Tools required: basic bookbinding tool kits (we have some if you don’t have one), small weights, finishing or lying presses (please bring one if you have one), a thick paperback book (to practice endbands).
